Anti-fosfat cc® 500 mg Film Coated Tablets
Anti-fosfat cc® is a phosphate binding agent containing calcium carbonate in tablet form.
It is used to treat high phosphate levels in the blood (hyperphosphatemia) in patients with kidney failure, especially those receiving regular dialysis.
Treatment should begin with two Anti-fosfat cc® tablets taken with meals (corresponding to 3 grams of calcium carbonate per day). The Anti-fosfat cc® dose can be increased to 4 – 6 tablets taken with each meal (corresponding to up to 9 grams of calcium carbonate per day). Anti-fosfat cc® should be taken whole, without chewing, with some water at regular intervals throughout the day, immediately before or with meals.
