Purdox® 5% Cream
Purdox® is a product that is applied to the skin. Purdox® contains the active ingredient doxepin hydrochloride, which is in the group of medicines known as tricyclic antidepressants and has antipruritic properties.
Purdox® is used for the short-term (up to 8 days) treatment of moderate itching in adults with atopic dermatitis (long-term eczema with reddish lesions that ooze, resulting from congenital or acquired hypersensitivity to certain allergens) and lichen simplex chronicus (a long-term skin disease caused by itching and friction).
Purdox® should be applied in a thin layer 4 times a day, with at least 3-4 hours between applications. For topical use only.
