Each capsule contains 7 mg Haemophilus influenzae bacterial lysates,obtained from Streptococcus (Diplococcus) pneumoniae, Klebsiella pneumoniae ssp. pneumoniae and ozaenae, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes and sanguinis (viridans), Moraxella (Branhamella/Neisseria) catarrhalis as active substance.
It is used as a protective in the recurrent infections of the respiratory tract and as an adjunct to the main treatment in acute infections exacerbations of chronic bronchitis and in acute respiratory infections
VAXORAL® in children between 6 months-12 years of ages
Protective and supportive treatment: One capsule per day on a empty stomach for 10 consecutive days over 3 months.
Treatment of acute symptoms: One capsule daily to be taken on an empty stomach, until the symptoms disappear (for at least 10 days). If an antibiotic is necessary, VAXORAL® can be combined with this from the start of treatment.
VAXORAL® is taken orally, on an empty stomach, with a glass of water. If the capsules are difficult to swallow, the VAXORAL® capsule can be opened and the contents of the capsule can be poured into a beverage (water, juice, milk, etc.).
