Akela® Forte 4% Gel
Akela® is a medicinal product belonging to the topical acne medicine group. Akela® contains the antibiotic substance called erythromycin. It is offered for use in the form of an aluminum tube containing 30 g of gel in each box.
It is used superficially in the treatment of acne.
Akela® is applied twice daily, morning and evening, to areas with moderate or severe acne. The 4% formulation is recommended at the beginning of treatment. After at least 2 months of treatment, when significant improvement is seen, the 2% formulation can be used. AKELA® can be used long-term if necessary.
