Contractubex® is effective in the treatment of scars on the skin. It is a gel-like product containing substances called Extractum Cepea, Heparin sodium and Allantoin.

It is used in the treatment of pathological scar tissues formed on the skin for various reasons:
• Wound scars of various structures,
• Surgery, amputation of protruding organs such as arms or legs, scars that restrict movement and are visually disturbing after burns and accidents,
• A disorder that causes the fingers to remain contracted towards the palm, causing movement restriction,
• Conditions that cause shortness in muscle tendons or shortness in muscles as a result of trauma and movement restriction (traumatic tendon contracture),
• Pit-shaped scars (such as acne scars).

Unless otherwise recommended by the physician, Contractubex® is applied to the scar tissue several times a day. Contractubex® is applied superficially (externally) to the scar tissue with a massage until the gel is fully absorbed. For hard, old scars, Contractubex® can be applied overnight by covering it.
