Digoxin-Assos® is a heart medicine and is only recommended by a doctor and sold with a prescription. It contains digoxin as the active ingredient; this is a type of cardiac glycoside obtained from the leaves of a plant called Digitalis in Latin. It helps the heart beat to be stronger and more regular.
Digoxin-Assos® is used in the treatment of heart failure in all forms and stages in people of all ages. Digoxin-Assos® can also be used in some heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmia).
Normal dosage
Adults, children and adolescents (>10 years old) over 40 kg.
The same dosage as adults can be used for children and adolescents over 10 years old.
Used orally.
Digoxin-Assos® can be administered on an empty or full stomach.
