Hiper-Amonemix® is used as adjunctive therapy in the chronic treatment of urea cycle disorders including carbamylphosphate synthetase, ornithine transcarbamylase or argininosuccinate synthetase deficiencies.
450-600 mg/kg/day in newborns, infants and children weighing less than 20 kg. It is determined as 9.9-13.0 g/m2/day in children, adolescents and adults weighing more than 20 kg.
