KYTRİL® “contains an active substance, called granisetron which is belongs to a group of medicines called ‘5-HT3 receptor antagonists’ or ‘anti-emetics’ (drugs preventing nausea and vomiting)

KYTRIL® is used to prevent nausea and vomiting (feeling bad and sick) caused by cancer treatments with drugs or radiation.

Prevention of nausea or vomiting The first dose of KYTRIL® is usually given one hour before your radiotherapy or chemotherapy.

Usage dose is as follows (up to one week after your radiotherapy or chemotherapy.

• One 1 mg tablet twice a day or

• Two 1 mg tablets once a day or

• One 2 mg tablet once a day

Treatment of nause and vomiting General usage dose is as follows

• One 1 mg tablet twice a day or

• Two 1 mg tablets once a day or

• One 2 mg tablet once a day

Must be taken by oral route. Take the tablets with a sufficient amount of liquid (for example, with a glass of water) without chewing
