Kytril® contains the active ingredient granisetron, which belongs to the group of medicines called "5-HT3 receptor antagonists" or "anti-emetics" (preventing nausea and vomiting).
Kytril® is used to prevent nausea and vomiting (feeling unwell and sick) caused by cancer treatments with medicines or radiation.
The dose varies depending on your age, weight, and whether you are taking the medicine to prevent or treat vomiting and nausea.
Kytril® can be given by injection into a vein (intravenously).
