Maprotiline hydrochloride
LUDIOMIL®, which contains 75 mg of maprotiline hydrochloride in each tablet as an active substance, belongs to drug group called tetracyclic antidepressants
It is used in the treatment of depression and mental disorders. LUDIOMIL® helps alleviate the symptoms of depression such as anxiety, sadness, loss of interest, difficulty in performing everyday tasks, nervousness and feelings of failure or guilt. It also improves physical symptoms such as energy deficiency, fatigue, insomnia, dizziness, headache, indigestion and pain associated with depression
The recommended daily dose varies between 75 mg and 150 mg. Depending on the severity of symptoms, patient response and tolerance, treatment may be started with 25 mg 1-3 times a day or 75 mg once a day and then gradually increased until the effective dose is reached. It is not recommended to use daily doses above 150 mg
